Spitfires, Concorde, Airbus, Kilfrost, SAE Updates, future technology and so much more…

After we were invited last year and experienced a well supported and organised winter conference, we were more than happy to attend this year!

easyJet really do know how to put on a first class conference. The conference is informative as well as fun. There are a large amount of worldwide airports, airlines and ground handling providers that attend and this year we were extremely pleased to take a long one of Virgin Atlantic’s representatives. It is an absolute pleasure to see easyJet, bring everyone together with the main aim to improve safety and efficiency as ‘one team’.

EasyJet plc, styled as easyJet, is a British multinational low-cost airline group headquartered at London Luton Airport. It operates domestic and international scheduled services on over 1,000 routes in more than 30 countries via its affiliate airlines EasyJet UK, EasyJet Switzerland, and EasyJet Europe. EasyJet plc is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index. EasyGroup Holdings Ltd (the investment vehicle of the airline’s founder, Greek-Cypriot businessman Stelios Haji-Ioannou, and his family) is the largest shareholder with a 29.998% stake (as of June 2020). It employs circa 14,000 people, based throughout Europe but mainly in the UK.

The conference is an excellent networking opportunity, and with its wide range of exhibitors there is always an abundance of knowledge and technological updates.

It’s clear how hard the easyJet team work to put this conference on as well as sourcing the most attractive venues; this year was at the Imperial War Museum Duxford. IWM Duxford is Europe’s largest air museum. Where you can walk through the same hangars and buildings as those who served at RAF Duxford and get up close to over a century of aviation.

We were in for a treat this year as the conference was held just a few days before the Duxford Air show so we were able view the spitfire on a couple of practice runs, which is always a delight to see!

However, back to why the conference is held. If you’re interested in developing new ideas and initiatives to support your winter operation, this conference is a must.

Dates pending we will definitely be back next year!

Thank you and well done easyJet!
